Director of DMS
The vision of our Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is to work as a key member of a professional health-care team interacting with colleagues, physicians, and patients. Our purpose is to prepare our graduates to be employees of choice for organizations by providing them with practical learning experiences. Our DMS staff are highly skilled and dedicated health care professionals. Our primary responsibility is the education of our students enabling them to acquire the foundation of knowledge, skills, values, attitudes, and behaviors appropriate for a career as a songrapher. We nurture their intellectual curiosity. We facilitate their development into active, independent learners. As the Director of Van Nuys Campus DMS, I welcome you to this exciting and rewarding profession.

Sonographers are highly respected professionals because of the high level of responsibility they are given, and the knowledge they utilize in applying sophisticated technology to diagnostic assessments. My goal is to prepare students to meet that responsibility by providing them with the skills to succeed. As Director of DMS, Anaheim and Hawthorne Campuses, I want students graduating from the DMS program at Casa Loma College to be recognized by the medical community for their outstanding training and the high quality of their work.

I am passionate about the Nursing profession which combines scientific, evidenced based practices, with caring and compassion. My vision for the Vocational Nursing program is influenced by my professional experience with traumatic brain injuries and my fascination with the human brain and its ability to change and adapt with each new encounter. Education is more than just the dissemination of facts or ideas. Rather, it is the process of promoting critical inquiry and where individuals are given the keys to reach their own potential.
